Eat Wild (www.eatwild.com) : Eatwild.com provides research-based information about "eating on the wild side." This means choosing present-day foods that approach the nutritional content of wild plants and game—our original diet. Evidence is growing on an almost daily basis that these wholesome foods give us more of the nutrients we need to fight disease and enjoy optimum health.
Few of us will go back to foraging in the wild for our food, but we can learn to forage in our supermarkets, farmers markets, and from local farmers to select the most nutritious and delicious foods available.
Eatwild has been providing information about the benefits of choosing meat, eggs, and dairy products from pastured animals since 2001. Founder Jo Robinson is now providing information about fruits and vegetables as well!

American Pastured Poultry Producers Association (www.apppa.org) : The American Pastured Poultry Producers' Association (APPPA) is a nonprofit educational and networking organization dedicated to encouraging the production, processing, and marketing of poultry raised on pasture. 

Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (farmandranchfreedom.org) : Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance (FARFA) is a national organization that supports independent family farmers and protects a healthy and productive food supply for American consumers. FARFA promotes common sense policies for local, diversified agricultural systems.
FARFA is an advocate for independent farmers, ranchers, livestock owners, and homesteaders, as well as the consumers who support them. By protecting independent producers, we protect the safety, quality, and availability of our food.

Mid-America Regional Council  (www.marc.org) : The Mid-America Regional Council, commonly referred to as MARC, serves as the association of city and county governments and the metropolitan planning organization for the bistate Kansas City region. MRC Electronics Recycling (https://mrcrecycling.net) : MRC has both business and community electronics recycling. They have events for the public, pick up services for businesses and a drop off location for personal. The website lists all their services and also notes what is free to recycle and what requires a fee.

USGBC - Central Plains Chapter (https://www.usgbc.org/usgbc-central-plains) : USGBC’s Central Plains Chapter covers Kansas and part of Western Missouri (including the Greater Kansas City area); it is dedicated to integrating sound business practices and environmentally-responsible design, development and construction within the local building industry.
